I bought a wonderfully colourful charm pack last week and this is the result. Adding just a little black and white make this finished top pop.
Here are the instructions for making it.
The charm pack was all the same fabric design in different colours.

Firstly I had to chose which fabric I would use to enhance these super colours.
I could not choose between the black or white so I used both.
I then sorted the blocks into sets of four, never repeating the same colour in any set of four. I also made sure all the top full square was different in each block.

Each set of four charms is cut as shown. The three spare little squares are saved for the border.
The white and black strips are cut and added to the block.

The block is made up of stitching the black or white strips to the coloured strips as shown. Then join the smallest orange block to the big square, then the strip with the longer bit of orange then the smaller green strip then the larger green strip and then the dark orange shorter one and then the longer orange strip. There is only one intersection which makes sewing this block easy and hassle free.

Trim the block and I added black joining strips and bordered the block in black too. The spare little squares (along with the three or four charms that were not used) were joined into four strips, adding black to extend them to the length of the full quilt top finishing this vibrant quilt top.
I need to sandwich, back and quilt this but loving the design. If you make this quilt top please let me see some photos of yours.
